Project: photography
New Project: cliff538photography.com
Well, I finally have a web site up to showcase some photography. It's a work in progress but so far I'm very happy with the results. It's clean, simple, and I hope will showcase some of my favorite work.
Right now it's a web-engine/lightroom plug-in by Matthew Campagna. I'm impressed with the touches that he has put into his software. If you have no desire to learn HTML/CSS and use Adobe LightRoom check out Matthew's stuff he puts out some real quality stuff.

Future plans for photo page....
I'm working on a nice photo layout page to show some of my favorite pictures and links to helpful photo sites that I use. For now please visit my Flickr page to see my Nikon, iPhone, and Holga pictures.
Slideshow using JQuery and Cycle
Well it's been a long journey trying to figure out a nice photo layout page, it has involved learning JavaScript, JQuery and playing with a multitude of JQuery plugins and I'm still learning and experimenting with different things to find what I want. I thought I'd post a small piece of what I've been playing with to show you and I wanted to make and post changes to the web site using my new text editor Coda I'm really liking Coda, it's my new favorite. Anyway this is a very customizable slideshow JQuery plugin called Cycle. You can read about and see all the different transitions and customization on there web site here. Very good documentation on the web site and very easy to set-up.
Cycle Slideshow showing some of my recent iPhone shots.
