It’s blog update day!

Went to the dentist today for stage two of implant surgery, so it seemed like a good time, while I nursed my sore gums, to spend the afternoon updating, tweaking, and loving on my blog.

I take big breaks from working on the blog, but when I get the chance for a multi-hour work spree on it, I really enjoy it.

What Got Done:

1. Updated the Essentials Page.
2. Updated the Now Page.
3. Updated Book Resources.
4. Added a “Started But Did Not Finish” book shelf.
5. Added another link to the 365 Photo Challenge Blog 365Pixels in the main navigation.

Yet To Do:

1. Add more photo sets to the photography page.
2. Make a dedicated coffee page where I can talk about espresso machines, grinders, coffee beans, pour-over technique, scales, etc etc, just a whole lotta coffee love ☕️ page.

Cliff Notes:

• I really struggled with removing my sidebar on my main page. I’m just torn about it. Some days I like it, other days I dislike it. I did remove it from all other pages, so it’s only on the main page now. Also, on small screens, you don’t even see it due to a lack of real estate.

• Let me leave you with this: if you’ve ever thought about having your own blog and getting off all other social media, I can’t recommend it enough. Own and control your stuff!
