Finished reading: The New York Trilogy by Paul Auster πŸ“š

Dark, strange, mysterious, interconnected, very unsatisfying endings. Three interconnected stories, excellent writing. Some of it doesn’t make sense or cohere. A lot is left to the imagination.

After a break, I’ll come back to Paul Auster and try another book. Auster’s writing and storytelling are excellent, but I don’t think I can recommend The New York Trilogy. Although I slogged through, always wanting to find out what happened, the ending was very unsatisfying.
